Teleworking (Teams)

Defined as “work from home, making use of the Internet, email, and the telephone.” With the recent pandemic I believe our concept of teleworking will change dynamically.

There are many great advantages to teleworking, to many to list in fact. With tools like Microsoft Teams, it allows you to have face to face meetings, communicate quicker than email, share and correspond on documents together. It really makes everything a better use of employees time.

Something I’ve learned since teleworking myself is the many many useless meetings I was in before. Meetings what only 10% of the room needed to be a part of, and even they didn’t listen. With Teams, everyone is present, everyone can participate in meeting notes, and you can even send the meeting later if someone claims something wasn’t covered.
